Four Shades EP

Spencer Brown, who is active in labels like Diviine and Anjuna, is set to release his first release of 2026 from the popular label Bedrock. This EP focuses on underground, deep sounds and includes four tracks that have been played in advance by Spencer himself and a few top DJs, including John Digweed, creating a significant buzz on the dance floor. The tracks include the deep Tech House "Plane Acid," which features ominous acid synths as the title suggests, and the Balearic track "Aerocity," reminiscent of the classic Nalin & Kane hit "Beachball." All four tracks are fantastic, but personally, I highly recommend "Hot Pot," which has a driving Deep Trance ~ Progressive Trance feel. All tracks are in the BPM range of the high 120s, hinting at a potential resurgence of this style of progressive music.
