Songs You Might Remember From Some Parties v3

Finland's popular DJ/producer Yotto, who leads the Melodic House scene, has released a popular EP series titled "Songs You Might Remember From Some Parties," featuring tracks made for parties. V1 was released in 2021, V2 in 2024, and the latest installment, V3, was released in April 2026 on Yotto's label, odd one out. The EP includes "Status," a Progressive Breaks track with a captivating soundscape reminiscent of snowy fields; "Come Back Baby," a sound that can be seen as a legitimate evolution of Yotto's works from his Anjunadeep era; "Final Call," which features an electric bass and a hands-up break that is sure to delight Melodic fans; and "Aero," which, while differing in direction, is guaranteed to resonate with fans of Eric Prydz and Jeremy Olander. This EP showcases four powerful tracks that unmistakably embody Yotto's style.

Enter The Dance
Single CLOSE PROXIMITY

Enter The Dance

The London-based duo Frank Brady and Demack's project Close Proximity primarily features a unique sound that fuses trance, progressive house, and techno, making them a significant presence in the Balearic sound of this generation. The two debuted at the end of 2024 and have achieved numerous releases in their year and a half of activity. The track "Enter The Dance" is included in the "Balearic Sunrise EP" released by Notte Eterna. It is a RAW style trance at BPM 133, categorized as Deep Trance, but it also incorporates elements reminiscent of the 90s rave scene, such as punchy pianos and the hard grooves found in German techno. This can be seen as a reboot of the sounds from the 90s to early 2000s, which are gaining renewed attention in the 2020s, overflowing with charm that goes beyond the category of trance.

Gai Barone and Nick Stoynoff's collaboration "Post Boutique" has been released by Selador, a major Progressive House label run by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry. This track features a sound that can be described as the latest iteration of Progressive House, which has been gaining renewed attention in recent years, reminiscent of the style popular around the early 2000s. Its deep grooves and divine breaks are sure to showcase their power in clubs and outdoor settings. The quality of this collaboration, praised by top DJs in the scene like Sasha, John Digweed, and Hernan Cattaneo, is truly impressive. Label boss Dave Seaman will be performing at the Global Underground Japan tour on April 25 at Nagoya club (O)Utopos and on April 28 at Tokyo MIYASHITA PARK OR.

Mystery Land (Roy Rosenfeld Remix)
EP Y-Traxx, Roy Rosenfeld

Mystery Land (Roy Rosenfeld Remix)

One of the major hits of the Balearic trance that dominated the 90s, Y-TRAXX's masterpiece "Mystery Land" (a unit featuring Fred Baker) is set to return in 2026!! New remixes have been created numerous times, and the track had a resurgence in 2018 with a techno version by Spektre. The 2026 edition will feature a remix by popular Israeli producer Roy Rosenfeld, who continues to release works from top labels in the Organic ~ Progressive scene like All Day I Dream, Lost Miracle, and Early Morning. This remix is also set to be included in the upcoming Global Underground series release GU49 Deep Dish – Dublin, but will be released ahead of that. The content showcases melodies that evoke the mystique and emotionality of sunset and dawn, and the release will also include a Melodic Techno remix by Søluna, a Peaktime Techno remix by Quinny, and a remastered version of the original, making it perfect for the upcoming season. B6 Records will also host a Global Underground event in Japan on April 28, featuring the iconic DJ Dave Seaman at OR TOKYO!! This is not to be missed. https://livepocket.jp/e/5fmz6

Carry Me Home (Kloset Remix)
EP Above & Beyond, Zoë Johnston, Kloset

Carry Me Home (Kloset Remix)

In 2025, a new remix was released as a single from "Bigger Than All Of Us," the fifth artist album by Above & Beyond, commemorating their 25th anniversary. The remix was crafted by Kloset, a project by the renowned Italian artist Fabio Congia, known in the Melodic Progressive scene and also as Station To Station. Kloset has been active with labels like Elliptical Sun Melodies and more recently Anjunadeep Explorations, delivering a perfect morning-oriented Melodic House track that showcases his gentle and epic sound. The synergy with Zoe Johnston's vocals is outstanding, making this a must-listen for fans of Above & Beyond's softer tracks.

Only You
Single Matt Fax, Lovlee

Only You

The new track "Only You" by French progressive artist Matt Fax has been released from Interstellar, a label directly operated by INSOMNIAC, the largest operator of American festivals, specializing in Melodic House / Melodic Techno. Matt Fax, once a representative artist of Colorize and in recent years known for many hits released through Armada Music, has shifted back to a more fantastical, melodic house style with this release, compared to his recent floor-oriented works. Fans of Matt Fax's more mellow tracks will surely be drawn to this piece. This is definitely a track that will shine in a lounge setting!

My Friends
EP OLING, Viggo Dyst

My Friends

A new track by OLING, an artist from Jeremy Olander's label Vivrant and a rising star in the Swedish progressive scene, has been released by Anjunadeep. The collaboration "My Friends" with fellow Swedish techno artist Viggo Dyst shines with beautifully grand melodies that also stood out in its release on Vivrant. Oling has performances scheduled in Osaka on February 6 and in Tokyo on February 7, marking his first shows in Japan. This track is sure to be played during peak time on both days!!

Drifting (Felix Raphael Remix)
EP Klur, Felix Raphael

Drifting (Felix Raphael Remix)

A new remix of KLUR's "Drifting" has arrived from the popular Progressive ~ Melodic House label Colorize. This track is a single cut from KLUR's album "After The Rain," released in October 2025. The remix is handled by Felix Raphael, who actively collaborates with renowned artists such as Ben Bohmer, Jan Blomqvist, and Tinlicker. Notably, his collaboration with Ben Bohmer on "One Last Call" is quite famous. The original track already had a euphoric, Electronica-influenced Melodic Techno vibe, reminiscent of Ben Bohmer, but this remix reconstructs it into a more driving, party-friendly track. The freshness of this song really showcases Felix's true essence!

Sunday Sunrise
EP David Mackay, Martim Rola

Sunday Sunrise

A collaboration has emerged between David Mackay and Martim Rola, both of whom continue to release works from the major Afro House ~ Melodic House label, Anjunadeep, a popular UK label. This house track features emotional piano that perfectly matches the morning vibe, and listening to it while watching a beautiful sunrise would undoubtedly bring tears to your eyes!! It feels like there has been an increase in tracks that combine Afro and Melodic styles recently. While they are both trendy, they might just have a good compatibility.

Four Shades EP
EP Spencer Brown

Four Shades EP

Spencer Brown, who is active in labels like Diviine and Anjuna, is set to release his first release of 2026 from the popular label Bedrock. This EP focuses on underground, deep sounds and includes four tracks that have been played in advance by Spencer himself and a few top DJs, including John Digweed, creating a significant buzz on the dance floor. The tracks include the deep Tech House "Plane Acid," which features ominous acid synths as the title suggests, and the Balearic track "Aerocity," reminiscent of the classic Nalin & Kane hit "Beachball." All four tracks are fantastic, but personally, I highly recommend "Hot Pot," which has a driving Deep Trance ~ Progressive Trance feel. All tracks are in the BPM range of the high 120s, hinting at a potential resurgence of this style of progressive music.
