My Lexicon
EP Sander Kleinenberg, Helsloot, Kintar, THEMBA (SA), Kyozo

My Lexicon

The masterpiece "My Lexicon" by Sander Kleinenberg, a legend of the house scene based in the Netherlands and considered one of the representative works of Progressive House from around the year 2000, is making a comeback in 2025!! The version by Helsroot is a Melodic House that beautifully utilizes the original track's heavenly melody, and it was previewed by Sander himself in the DJ Mix celebrating the 300th episode of Balance, released in the fall of 2024. The simultaneous release featuring Kintar, THEMBA (SA), and Kyozo falls under the Afro House genre, but it has a mellow Tribal House vibe reminiscent of the 2000s. It seems like a sound that would truly shine in large venues or outdoor settings. THEMBA (SA) and Sander also collaborated on a track called "Cuts Deep" this fall, which I highly recommend as well.

Another Storm
EP Quivver, Mike Rish, Mango

Another Storm

Quivver's new track has been released from Mango's label, Mango Alley, and he has been actively releasing music from Anjunadeep in recent years. I used to really enjoy listening to Quivver's works from the early to mid-2000s, where Progressive House and Deep House sounds were blended together. Recently, it feels like there's a return to that sound with Progressive House and Quivver's own production, which is great. The remixes by Mike Rish and Mango himself have been released simultaneously. These are also cool and seem likely to be favored by current Deep Progressive DJs.

Blue Planet (Qrion Remix)
Single Shingo Nakamura, Qrion

Blue Planet (Qrion Remix)

In 2024, Shingo Nakamura's 4th album "Solace" features the track "Blue Planet," which has been remixed by Qrion, an artist active on Anjunadeep. The original, which leans towards progressive trance and is emotional, has been restructured into a deeper, groove-focused house track. It has been polished into a more DJ-friendly sound. Having both of these Japanese artists, who lead these genres globally, credited together feels like a dream collaboration, doesn't it?

liminality
EP SLEEPY HEVD

liminality

The track from the declare EP self-released by SLEEP HEVD in the spring of 2025. It features five tracks, each breaking through in different directions, but among them, "Liminality" stands out as particularly pleasant. With a sharp electro sound that could be described as a modern interpretation of Aphex Twin, it feels like a harder tech version of Kyohei Akagawa from Otographic Music. For those who resonate with these terms, this track is sure to hit the mark. SLEEPY HEVD will perform at the B6 Records-presented floor event at Miyashita Park OR on December 6. I’m really looking forward to what kind of sound will emerge!

Somebody To Love
EP YOTTO, Eli & Fur

Somebody To Love

A collaboration between Melodic scene stars Yotto and Eli & Fur, released in spring 2025. The new track "Somebody To Love," released from Yotto's label Odd One Out, is a masterpiece that showcases Eli & Fur's deep groove and Yotto's sweet melodic sense. Fans of Above & Beyond will absolutely love this sound. By the end of 2025, it has recorded top sales for both artists, likely becoming a representative track of the year in Melodic House. Eli & Fur's first performance at Miyashita Park OR in Tokyo is scheduled for December 6. It promises to be an unmissable night for Melodic House fans.

Stereodrama (Aubrey Fry & Nick Stoynoff Remix)
Single Danny Howells, Aubrey Fry, Nick Stoynoff

Stereodrama (Aubrey Fry & Nick Stoynoff Remix)

Here is the top seller of 2025 from Chicago-born DJ/artist Nick Stoynoff, who continues to release tracks from many renowned labels such as Balance, Bedrock, Sudbeat, and Pure Progressive. This remix can be considered a masterpiece from Nick, who is pushing forward with particularly deep sounds in the Progressive House scene, which is returning to its roots around the 2000s. This work is a remix of the hit track "Stereodrama" by Deep scene legend Danny Howells, released this spring from the prestigious Selador label, run by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry. Nick Stoynoff is an artist to watch, with his first live performances scheduled for December 5, 2025, in Osaka and December 6 in Tokyo.

Time
EP Kryder

Time

A cover of the main theme "Time" from Hans Zimmer's film Inception has been released in Progressive House / Melodic House. The producer behind this is Kryder, a UK artist known for his modern remixes of classic tracks. He has managed to create a floor-friendly version that maintains the grandeur of the original without becoming overly flashy.
